Dear AmeriFace® Network Families:

Are you a parent of a child born with cleft lip and/or palate?

Danya International, Inc., a health communications company located in Silver Spring, Maryland, is developing Facing Cleft, a comprehensive informational resource, to support families of children born with cleft lip and/or palate. We are currently seeking parents of children born with clefts to participate in a review of the parent guide and introductory videos.

As part of the Facing Cleft review, at two separate times you will be asked to complete questionnaires about your knowledge and feelings about cleft lip and/or palate, and to review sample content from the Parent’s Resource Guide. The entire activity should take a total of 2-3 hours over the course of two weeks. All information will be kept confidential; no personal identifiers will be used in this research study. At the completion of this research study, participants will receive a monetary honorarium and a copy of the Facing Cleft Parent’s Resource Guide.
